This has been something that I have been thinking about for a little while and I decided that $100 for the smallest of the paintings that I have been creating is too high of a price to have in the store.
So this past weekend I decided to dedicate some time to decreasing the price of pretty close to every painting in the gallery from $100 to $50 instead. For the average working adult, I think that this price is much more reasonable for artwork for the household.
The only exceptions to this rule will be the much larger paintings that I have been working on. The paintings which require a lot more time and devotion, that are bigger in size and subject matter and one in which I have something of a special relationship with that I decided not to budge on the price on.
This includes paintings like Plato, the stormtrooper, the large Einstein painting, etc. Those are definitely more justified in price and I am still offering a 50% discount on those paintings as well for anyone interested in providing a nice testimonial for the web page's testimonial page . :)
