Originally this painting was part of a series of paintings that I did some time ago. A series of paintings that at the time I called the "Geometric" Series because of the very strong white geometric lines across a splattered and spilled landscape. Each painting, each one did in black and red really had a unique personality to it. This one painting remains from that series, and I am yet to continue this route of experimentation. So that I can see what types of texture, form, and technique can create a unique and abstract landscape.
Each painting is 16" by 20" inches on stretched canvas. All of them are meant to go together, creating that kind of a break between all of them. Each one can hang on only a thumbtack too which is pretty cool and awesome. All together the paintings include a surface area of 32" (inches) by 40" (inches). I am hoping that this painting can go to a home that would appreciate modern and a contemporary feel to it.
