One day I was in a chemistry class, making notes about equations, compounds and chemicals just like any other day. I make a quick little sketch in the top corner of my book and the teacher comes around to me, looks at it and compliments the style and idea. Specifically she says, this must be how I dance.
Inspired, I went home and made a painting from it. Its just a rather interesting idea of all these different types of faces sort of melding into one another in a very surreal way. Other than that, the earthly tones I used created a rather interesting interpretation of human race. Even though specifically I don't really believe in race, I mean we are a single species after all. :p
That, and we are all people regardless of where we were born or where our parents where born.
This is a painting that I made on three separate 8" by 20" canvasses. Each of the pieces are very light and can hang on a single thumbtack.
