These kinds of paintings are weird, but also kind of strangely alluring to me at the same time. Getting lost in that abstract landscape of line, color, splatter, and even texture is really more of an excuse to be able to try something new and different with the brush but also to look at it as simply another viewer of abstract artwork.
Its a painting of literally nothing, but at the same time it is something. There is this strange balance between nothing and something which in itself gives these kinds of paintings a true soul so to speak.
This is probably why I like these kinds of paintings so much, truth be told they simply make you think! To simply be able to get lost in such a thought and in such a painting is remarkable to me!
This is a big painting. At its widest it is 29" and at its longest its 42" this is a regular style stretched canvas meaning a 3/4 of an inch depth.
