Relaxing at the beach

Is it a strange thing to say that I am inspired by Jessee Robertson and her ability to overcome adversity and find meaning in the world of art?

If you don't know who Jesse Robertson is, She is an artist in London Ontario who hosts these large social get togethers for parties, corporate gatherings or fundraisers and teaches an entire group of people how to paint a particular  type of scene.

I have covered her work before.

Art is just simply a powerful and wonderful thing and indeed one can lose themselves in creating something new, unique, inviting or surreal. There is something incredibly powerful and incredibly human in the ability to paint, to create artwork. Maybe that is why I enjoy this hobby so much?

Regardless, this new painting features a glass of wine while gazing into the horizon of the unknown. Just relaxing, sitting back and enjoying the calming beach. *sigh* just relaxing.

This painting is 16" by 20" on stretched canvas. It is a very light painting and can even hang on a thumbtack if necessary.
