This too is an original painting, but done more as an experiment to see how close I could get to recreating all of the white elements back into a painting on top of a very light blue background to begin with. I even included sparkles in the painting itself, also as a bit of an experiment to see how much more of a dimension that I could add to it in theory.
The truth is that I have found that a subtle approach in future paintings works, but that walking by the painting and seeing the light be captured and bounce off of these kinds of paintings to actually work really well.
This painting has an extremely modern feel to it, I can go anywhere and really stand out. There is something quite unique and different about using very simple colors to make sure that the painting can stand out in any color scheme.
This painting is done on a 24" by 36" stretched canvas and is very light. So much so that a thumbtack could hold it up
